ORIGINAL SUBMITTALS: Before logging in, check that you have the following materials available on your computer:
- A single PDF of the complete manuscript (abstract, text, references, illustrations, tables), as well as a copy of the text in MS Word, prepared according to the suggestions to authors. The document should have a unique and recognizable name - for example, 'Jones_globigerina.pdf', not simply 'Manuscript.pdf'. NOTE: non-text data, such as embedded illustrations, or hidden data links created by "Ibid.", "End Notes" or other bibliographic programs, must be removed from text pages.
- The names and e-mail addresses of at least two pre-reviewers who have commented to you about the manuscript.
- A separate copy of the abstract, as a MS Word document.
- A cover letter, as a MS Word document, describing the submittal, identifying the corresponding author, and giving any other details about schedule, alternate addresses, and so forth. Note that the submittal must include all author names in full with institutional address and e-mail. The cover letter may include suggestions (pro or con) in regard to reviewers.
