ABSTRACT: This study reports and describes fossil thecamoebians from early Cretaceous deposits of Cohasset A-52 well located on the Scotian Shelf. In this paper we illustrate and discuss fossil thecamoebians to provide additional data to the few published reports on this fossil group. The identified taxa are attributed to the genera Cucurbitella, Difflugia and Heleopera, showing a strong similarity with recent thecamoebians. Several other forms with an uncertain generic characterization are are described.
